My Story
Several years ago, I met a friend who wrote abstracts for a pharmaceutical company. She inspired me to try out technical writing, so I earned a master’s degree in Scientific and Technical Communication from Drexel University. After working as a technical writer in the IT industry for 29 years, both as a corporate employee and contractor, I wanted to expand my repertoire to include medical writing and copyediting because I am fascinated with medicine and I also live in “Med City.” In 2017, I earned an advanced certificate in Medical Writing and Editing from the University of Chicago’s Graham School of continuing education. Since last year, I have been writing articles for the Med City Beat.
